Similan Island tour – one day trip by speedboat
This cheap Similan Island tour is a lower budget option.
While we normally recommend a better Similan Island day trip we understand that it’s not cheap. So we also offer this full day trip by speedboat includes some snorkeling and beach excursions and is very good value.

Every day from 1 November to 30 April.
06.00 – 07.00 : Pick-up from hotel and transfer by minibus to Thap lamu pier, Khao Lak.
08.00 : Check in; pick up your snorkeling gear. Meet your guide and depart for the Similan Islands.
10.00 : Snorkeling at Koh Payu (Island no.7) Enjoy the beach and explore the island, discover the beach at Honeymoon Bay, Koh Miang (Island 4).
Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch on the beach then depart for the afternoon program.
Arrive at Donald Duck Bay on Koh Similan (Island 8) where you can snorkel, relax on the beach or hike to the island’s viewpoint.
Then move to snorkeling at Christmas Point at Koh Ba Ngu (Island 9).
15.00 : Depart from the Similan Islands.
16.30 : Arrive at Thap lamu pier and transfer back to your hotel.

Prices from Khao Lak
3,500 2,600 baht per adult / 1,900 baht per child (4-11 years)
Price includes: National park fees, snorkeling equipment, snorkeling guide, picnic lunch (Thai food) on the beach, hotel transfers*, accident insurance.
*Hotel pick ups and transfers: Free two way transfers are provided by shared minivan service from hotels in Khao Lak main beaches. Extra fees may be charged for other areas. Transfers cannot be provided from private addresses / airbnb’s.
Add 400 baht per person for transfers from Phuket hotels.
Restrictions: These speedboat tours are not suitable for infants 3 years old and under, or for pregnant women and the elderly over 70 years of age.
– 7 days or more prior to the package or tour date: full refund less bank fees.
– 3-6 days prior to the package or tour date: 30% of total price
– Within 72 hours of the package or tour date, or no show: 100% of total price.
Weather Policy: This is an all weather tour and still runs if it is raining in the morning. The tour will be cancelled if the forecast is for rough sea unsafe for small boats. The decision to cancel is made on the morning of the tour by the boat captain and the harbour master. If a trip is cancelled because of bad weather you can reschedule to the next available day. If you cannot reschedule you will be refunded in full.
