2 day 1 night Similan Islands liveaboard
Snorkeling, diving and beach excursions.
There are many liveaboards exclusively for scuba divers at the Similan Islands, most of them are not suitable to snorkelers.
MV Koon offers an option for snorkelers, or people who want to do a few scuba dives but also want to snorkel and see the islands. Ideal for less experienced divers, or dive/non dive couples.
Operated by Andaman Seastar, you basically join the speedboat day trip for the morning of day 1, then at midday more to the liveaboard boat until midday on day 2, when you return to the mainland with the day trip speedboat.
The boat is simple and clean. There are just 7 cabins (so book early) with bunk beds. Cabins have AC. Bathrooms are shared. The food served on board is delicious and plentiful.
The price includes a dive guide, dive equipment, Similan national park fees and diver permits, all meals and transfers from most Phuket hotels.
