Whale sharks and more on a snorkeling liveaboard
The guests on board the Sawan snorkeling liveaboard (aka Reggae Queen) in December were lucky enough to snorkel with this whale shark:
December is normally a bit early for whale sharks but these days it’s getting harder to predict and the last two years have been very good for sightings throughout the season. This one was seen at Koh Tachai. There were no manta rays on this trip, normally mantas are more common than whale sharks. They did also see turtles, giant moray eels, banded sea snakes, clown fish, juvenile bat fish, oriental sweetlips. pufferfish, parrotfish and much more.
