Recommended Krabi tours

We’ve recently updated our Krabi tour options. These are some Krabi tours that we recommend.

Most tours included transfers from hotels in Krabi town and Ao Nang, as well as Khlong Muang and Tubkaek beach areas. (But not from Railey beach or the Centara Grand).

Krabi tours to Phi Phi

For snorkeling go to Phi Phi Islands. A Phi Phi tour also includes Bamboo Island, Maya bay, Piley cove and Monkey beach, all the main points that people want to see.

Krabi island hopping tours

For a nice day out island hopping the 4 islands day trip is great value. The islands are close to Krabi so the speedboat ride isn’t too far or too bouncy. There are a couple of opportunities for snorkeling but this tour is more about enjoying the beaches. If you have an extra day you can also visit Hong Island, which includes Pakbia island. It’s a nice tour but if you have to choose we think the 4 Islands day trip is better.

Krabi tours to Phang Nga bay

A must see destination is the beautiful Phang Nga bay. Tours include James Bond Island and the stilted fishing village at Koh Panyee. Plus some kayaking and caving. You can go by speedboat or do a cheap tour by minibus.

Krabi tours to Khao Sok

It is now possible to do tours from Krabi to Khao Sok. A day trip is good but the overnight options are better because it’s some distance to travel. You can stay in a boutique tent or on a basic floating hut at Cheowlan lake.

Other Krabi tours

A nice land based excursion is to the hot springs and Emerald pool. It includes a stop at the Tiger cave temple.

A great value half day tour is kayaking at Ao Thalane. It’s normally available in the afternoons but is tide dependent.

It’s not a tour but if you like Thai food we also recommend a visit to the night market in Krabi town on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
