Fantasea
Phuket Fantasea
Phuket Fantasea is a a long running dinner and show attraction in the Kamala beach area of Phuket. It’s hugely popular and with good reason. It’s a mixture of Thai culture Hollywood showbiz . Apparantly there is a storyline but we are not sure what it is and it doesn’t really matter anyway. The acrobatics and light show is very impressive but for most people the highlight is the animals including elephants, tigers, buffalos, horses, chickens, goats, birds and more.
Price for the show only: 1,800 baht per person. Infants under 4 years of age (up to 100 cm tall) are free of charge if they share their parents seat. Some scenes contain pyrotechnics and loud noise which may frighten infants.
Price for the show plus a buffet dinner: 2,200 baht per adult, 2,000 baht per child (101-140 cm tall).
Hotel transfers within Phuket – 350 baht per person.
Hotel transfers from Khao Lak (Mon, Tues and Sat) – 700 baht.
A Gold seat upgrade (more central theatre seat) is 350 baht per person.
Dinner is at 1800-2100 hrs. Showtime is 2100 hrs.
There is plenty to entertain you before the show proper starts including four themed areas:
1. The Palace of the elephants, a Sukhothai era stone temple with elephants to feed and photograph.
2. The Tiger Jungle adventure. Have a photo taken with a Tiger cub
3. The Similan Entertainment centre. Play area for the kids with an undersea theme.
4. Carnival Village. Handicraft centre where you can buy souvenirs.
Siam Niramit
Siam Niramit
Siam Niramit is an alternative to Phuket Fantasea, it opened in central Phuket in 2012. It’s become very popular here as it is in Bangkok. It’s one of the largest stage productions in the World with over 100 performers and 500 costumes. The “journey into the enchanted Kindgom of Siam” is played out over three acts, lasting a total of 80 minutes. It’s expertly choreographed and the show moves all around the theatre making the audience a part of the show. The Siam Niramit show is more interesting to anyone interested in Thai history and culture. It encompasses different periods of Thai history in different regions of Thailand, Thai spiritual beliefs and some of Thailand’s most important cultural festivals.
The show starts at 8pm. A buffet dinner is served before the show, starting at 5.30pm. Siam Niramit is open 6 days per weak, closed on Tuesdays.
Price for show only: 1,500 baht-1,900 baht per person (depending on seat location). Kids under 4 years of age (up to 90cm tall) are free of charge if they share their parents seat.
Price for the show plus a buffet dinner: 1,850-2050 baht (depending on seat location).
Add 300 baht for Phuket hotel transfers.
Simon Cabaret
Simon Cabaret
Simon Cabaret is a ladyboy show. Located in Patong beach it’s one of three ladyboy cabarets in Phuket, it’s the original since 1991. You could say that going to a ladyboy show is a cultural experience. It’s all in good fun, just a bunch of guys dressed up like Tina Turner singing “I am what I am.”
There are three shows per night at 6pm, 7.30pm and 9.00pm. gates open 30 minutes before show time. There is no dinner, just the show.
Prices: tickets are 800 baht each (600 baht for kids under 130cm tall). VIP seats are available for 1,000 baht (800 baht kids).
Round trip hotel transfers are 100-300 baht depending on location.
