Reviews

Here are two reviews from recent guests on board our two most popular snorkeling liveaboards the Sawan and the Sunshine.

These boats are simple yet comfortable. Everyone seems to have a good time. Part of the appeal is that they go where the day trippers don’t. If you want to avoid the crowds these tours are ideal.

Q. How was your trip on MV Sawan

A. Trip was good thanks for organising.  The tour itself was good, we saw a lot of stuff underwater (sharks, eels, snakes, turtles in addition to the more common sea life).  There were few other boats around, even though it was peak season.  I think Ralph made a point of avoiding the crowds which was good.  Ralph is a big personality which kept people’s enthusiasm up although the group dynamics were sometimes a little awkward – there was a very wide range of ages and languages which I think contributed to that.  Ralph and Ennis did a good job in any case.

The boat seemed in good condition, as was the room. Loved the chill out area on the roof.  Food was great considering they were cooking in bulk, we got a little seasick at times, particularly on the first evening as we were both getting over a bug anyway!  Ennis provided pills to help with that.  The more western food on offer also helped with our stomachs were unsettled.  Karl, Jan 2014

Q. How was your trip on MV Sunshine?

A. It was Excellent. My family were a little bit ill but it worked quite fine anyway. Your program was excellent for us and i really appreciated your thoughts of not being where all the other tourists are. I also liked the other islands Koh Tachai and Koh Bon as much as Similan. Thomas, Jan 2014

Update 2015. Sunshine is no longer in operation
