Daily from 16 December to 31 October (subject to sea conditions).

The best months are June, July and August.

From 1 November to 15 December the marine park is closed.

Itinerary

0800-0830: Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the pier

0830-0900: Check in, collect mask and snorkel, light breakfast

0900-1000: Speedboat to Angthong

1000-1200: Snorkeling and visit Emerald Lake

1200-1300: Buffet lunch on Woa Talab Island

1300-1500: Kayaking, swimming, relaxing around Woa Talab beach or hiking to Bua Bok cave

1500-1600: Return to Koh Samui

Prices

1,900 baht per adult, 1,500 baht per child (3-11 years)

Price includes: Round trip transfers from Koh Samui hotels, snorkeling equipment, light breakfast, buffet lunch.

Price excludes: Marine national park entrance fee – 300 baht for foreigners and 150 baht for Thais, payable in cash on the day.

Restrictions: This tour is not suitable for children below 3 years of age, pregnant women or people over the age of 70.

Cancellations:
In the event of cancellation, the following cancellation charges will be payable:
– 7 days or more prior to the package or tour date: full refund less bank fees.
– 3-7 days prior to the package or tour date: 30% of total price
– Within 72 hours of the package or tour date, or no show: 100% of total price.

Weather Policy: This is an all weather tour and still runs if it is raining in the morning. The tour will be cancelled if the forecast is for rough sea unsafe for small boats. The decision to cancel is made on the morning of the tour by the boat captain and the harbour master, not the passengers. If a trip is cancelled because of bad weather you can reschedule to the next available day. If you cannot reschedule you will be refunded in full.

What to Expect

Jump on a speedboat at Maenam pier in Koh Samui and in 45 minutes you’ll be in Ang Thong National Park. The speedboat boat goes to the north of the marine park first for some of the best snorkeling. The water in Ang Thong is not as clear as at Koh Tao but the marine life is impressive.

Then the speedboat weaves through some of the islands (there are 42 in all) as it takes you to the Emerald Lake on Mae Koh Island. From the beach it’s about a 5 minute climb to the viewpoint looking down into the lake and over the islands. You can climb the steep steps down into the lake as well if you like.

A buffet lunch is taken at the marine park restaurant head quarters on Woa Talab island. After lunch you are free to relax on the beach or take the kayaks out for a paddle. It’s a beautiful beach kept immaculately clean by the park rangers. Or you can hike to Bua Bok cave.
