Private Similan Islands tour – charter speedboat

If you have a group you can charter a speedboat to the Similan Islands. Because of strict national park regulations you will have to follow a normal day trip itinerary. But you will at least have a boat to yourself, and private hotel transfers.

Speedboat charters are available from 15 October to 15 May. The best months are mid Jan to mid April. Book early for holiday periods.

Itinerary

05.30 – 06.40: Pick-up from Phuket hotels
07.00 – 08.00: Pick up from Kok Kloy, Natai beach, Khao Lak hotels
and transfer by minibus to Thap lamu pier, Khao Lak.

08.30 : Check in, pick up your snorkeling gear. Coffee and bakery snacks available.

09.00 : Depart for the Similan Islands by speedboat.

10.50 : Snorkeling at Islands 5 & 6.

11.40 : Enjoy the beach and explore the island, discover the beach at Princess Bay, Koh Miang (Island 4).

12.00 : Picnic lunch box on the beach.

13.00 : Depart from Island No.4 to Island No.9(Koh Ba Ngu) for snorkeling at Christmas Point or Namchai bay.

14.15 : Move to Island number 8, Donald Duck bay, Sail Rock which is the landmark of Similan Islands. Relaxing, swimming, take pictures or climbing up to a view point.

15.30 : Depart from the Similan Islands.

16.50 : Arrive at Thap lamu pier. Enjoy some snacks, then transfer back to your hotel.

Guideline prices excluding hotel transfers and national park fees:

1-10 persons, price starts from: 47,000 baht
11-15 persons, price starts from: 54,000 baht
16-20 persons, price starts from: 60,000 baht
21-25 persons, price starts from: 66,000 baht
26-30 persons, price starts from: 91,000 baht

Price includes: Snorkeling equipment, guide, lunch box (Thai food), water and soft drinks, accident insurance.

Price excludes: hotel transfers, national park fees (500 baht per person)

Important: Visitor numbers into the Similan Islands marine park are limited. Tour operators must provide passport details. Please book early and send us a copy/photo of your passport facepage
You should also bring a copy of your passport face page with you on the tour. (A digital copy on your phone is fine).

Restrictions: These speedboat tours are not suitable for infants 3 years old and under, or for pregnant women and the elderly over 70 years of age.

Cancellations:
– 30 days or more prior to the package or tour date: 30% of total price
– Within 30 days of the package or tour date, or no show: 100% of total price.

Because of restrictions on national park entry tickets it may not be possible to change dates, please contact us as early as possible. National park fees are not refundable.

Weather Policy: This is an all weather tour and still runs if it is raining in the morning. The tour will be cancelled if the forecast is for rough sea unsafe for small boats. The decision to cancel is made on the morning of the tour by the boat captain and the harbour master. If a trip is cancelled because of bad weather you can reschedule to the next available day. If you cannot reschedule you will be refunded in full.
